Kyungsung has become the party place in Busan. It’s a densely packed area of bars and restaurants wedged between Kyungsung and Pukyeong Universities. Here, expats mingle with university students to create a bustling place that’s bumping all night. It also has a great restaurant scene, with more and more foreign restaurants moving in.
Gwangalli Beach to many is Busan’s ‘other’ beach. It has much more of a ‘city-beach’ feel than Haeundae, but is no less fun. Lined with a plethora of cafes, restaurants and bars, Gwangalli is always happening. The best time to go is at night when you can buy some cheap fireworks and launch them on the beach as you gaze at the Diamond Bridge’s colourful lights ahead of you.
