This is the first-ever museum of its kind in Korea, featuring a string of exhibits highlighting the origin, birth, and development of animation. There is an exhibition hall dedicated to Korean animation and another dedicated to the animation originating from other parts of the world. Unlike other museums, there are various experience programs such as a horror studio, a 3-D theater, and a puppet animation corner. The 200-seat animation theater is in the auxiliary building, displaying animation films and DVDs.
