The Raildroad Museum is divided into indoor and outdoor exhibitions. The indoor exhibition holds about 4,000 artefacts in its smaller rooms showcasing different aspects of Korea's railroad system including history, train, electrical signal & communication, railroad maintenance and transportation. Also, the future railroad room, railroad model panoramic viewing room and video room all tell the past, present and future of the national railroad system. The outdoor exhibition features models of old and new trains and various train facilities, which are often used as props for TV shows, dramas, movies, commercials and photoshoots. In addition, visitors may ride the railbikes on and off tracks. While the bikes need to be pedaled in order to move, an electric motor is installed in each bike so that young children and senior citizens can also enjoy them with ease.
